Nicole Morgan - Employee Experience Manager

I oversee employment and provide HR consultation for Lodging, Administration, Sales and Marketing and Guest Services. I also focus on training and development, payroll and benefits. I came out here with my husband after traveling through the U.S.A. one summer and what was intended to be one winter turned into…7 years later. I've worked in a number of different departments through the years, from Front Desk, to Wee Wascals, to the Ticket Office, to E.E. A highlight of my last three years has been working with international staff. The culture at Panorama is now more diverse and it's added vibrancy to the resort. I never get bored of the view and still can't believe that I live and work in a place where people dream of vacationing. If you're looking for a new adventure, turn your lunch breaks in to ski breaks!

I oversee employment and provide HR consultation for Mountain Operations, Food and Beverage, Rental/Retail, and Safety Services. I also oversee the operation of our fantastic new staff accommodation. I am the lone international in the group. I first came to Canada in 1998 on a working holiday and spent the year in Whistler. I eventually met the Canadian girl who would become my wife. With this came a tough decision, where would we live? With the snowboarding bug well and truly in me, we decided Canada was the place for us, so I traded in the beach for the mountains. We came to Panorama in 2001 and haven't looked back - it's been easy to do so. There is an awesome group of core people here that I work with on a daily basis and that makes it easy to come to work, day in, day out.

Staff Housing, staff events, staff trips, staff morale... You want it and I want to help you get it! I was born in Manitoba but was destined for the mountains and the lifestyle they offer. Move number eight brought me to Panorama for the first time in 2004, as did move number ten in 2005, and finally move number thirteen in 2007. I started at Panorama in Guest Services and decided to take some time off to develop my career by advancing my education at Selkirk College. I received my diploma in Ski Resort Management and I am now the Employee Experience Coordinator; responsible for all things staff! I love being part of a team dedicated to making people happy. It's infectious! Our guests visit our resort for its amazing reputation, however, they return year after year due to our outstanding staff who help create incredible memories.
Esther Gerrits - Payroll and Benefits Administrator
I am responsible for anything related to payroll and benefits. After graduating from college in December 2006, I moved to B.C. and settled down here at Panorama. I started here in June 2007 as the timeshare accountant before moving into this position in November. Before living in Panorama I had never been on skis and am very excited about the prospect of learning how to ski. I truly believe this is an amazing place to work and I still can't get over the view of the mountains, which I get to see every day.

I am responsible for recruiting for Food and Beverage and co-coordinating employee housing. I came to Panorama Mountain Village in September 2008, and was hooked the moment I arrived. Every day, I enjoy my morning coffee sitting on my balcony looking over the mountains that we call our backyard. I love to ski, hike, cycle, mountain bike, go white water rafting, and pretty much anything outdoors. Panorama is a vibrant community where you can't go for a walk without seeing people you know.
Sarah Downey - Accounts Receivable and Payroll Assistant
I worked at Panorama for a summer in 2003 while in university, and knew right away that I would soon be making plans to move back year round. I made the move in the summer of 2005 and haven't looked back! You soon discover that your co-workers are more like family than co-workers – it is a working environment that you just don't get anywhere else. Living and working at Panorama is like a dream – you can't beat being able to ride to your back door! Hiking, biking, camping, riding, climbing, you name it – it's here. The lifestyle that the mountains offer is one that I just can't resist.
