  • Can I change my date/time?

Adjustments to your time slot will be determined on a case-by-case basis, as daily volume in the tower may affect our ability to reschedule. Please visit our team at the Guest Services desk.

  • Can I bring my camera/phone into the tower?

No, cell phones as well as any loose items such as wallets, cameras, loose change etc. are not allowed for your safety and that of other guests. Please plan to leave these items in a safe location, or with a friend on the ground!

  • Is the aerial tower for kids or adults?

The Timberline Traverse Aerial Tower is available to anyone who meets the minimum height requirement of 125cm (49 inches).

Children from 6-12 years of age must be accompanied by a chaperone (15 years+ and over 140 cm tall). Trekkers who are under the height of 140cm may struggle on elements of the course.

  • How athletic do I need to be to climb?

The aerial tower is designed to be a "challenge-by-choice" experience and allows you to choose your own difficulty level throughout the tower.

Please note that the tower consists of many stairs, and requires all climbers to reach overhead to use the smart belay system.

  • Is the tower open when it's raining?

Yes. We strongly recommend checking the weather forecast ahead of your time slot, and to bring appropriate layers for the weather.

In the case of heavy winds, or a thunderstorm the aerial tower will be evacuated.

  • Can I take a break?

Climbers can descend back to ground level to drink water while remaining in their harnesses. If you need to go to the washroom, please inform a guide to help you out of your harness so you can visit the washroom facilities in the village.
