Featuring a live performance by Miss Vanjie from RuPaul's Drag Race, alongside our very special guests, April Storm, Angelina Starchild, Shane Onyou and Argintina, it's not just a party; it's a celebration of every shade, every strut, and every beat for Panorama Pride's first ever Drag Ball!

From her infamous early exit on RuPaul’s Drag Race to becoming one of the biggest drag stars in the world, Vanessa “Miss Vanjie” Mateo knows how to make her mark. With ultra fierce high-octane dance moves, an instantly recognizable Puerto Rican firecracker voice, and natural comedic charm, this diva drag hoodrat has caught the attention of tastemakers around the globe and shows no signs of stopping. With new music, TV shows, and worldwide tours all in the books, Miss Vanjie is an undeniable entertainment powerhouse

Angelina Starchild

A finalist in Alberta’s Next Drag Superstar and Ms. Pride Queen 2019, Angelina Starchild is a pop culture fanatic who is always ready with a colourful celebrity impersonation and an A-list performance. Expect to see hints of Lady Gaga, Kesha and Nicki Minaj in this glittering homage to her favourite celebrities.

Argintina

Argintina Hailey-Lawrence is a proud Two-Spirit Member of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation and has been dazzling audiences with her glamourous performances throughout her 21 year drag career. Of the Old School Drag Era, Argintina is not afraid to dip her well-heeled feet into elements of modern day drag as she delivers her diverse and show-stopping performances. Argintina is a tireless advocate for the inclusion of Two Spirit Drag Artists in major drag events in Calgary and Southern Alberta. 

Shane Onyou

The premier Daddy of Calgary’s drag scene, Shane Onyou brings a unique blend of campyness and sex appeal to his performances that has audiences screaming for more. Serving up old-school style and eyes that will melt your heart, Shane's sultry, witty and uproarious shows will leave you smitten.

Shane is not only a popular performer but is also a frontline advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and building a safer community for today’s queer youth. You can frequently find him on podcasts, in interviews, photo essays, and various ad campaigns as he continues to fight for a more equitable world for all.

April Storm

Originally from Halifax, where she held multiple titles including Queen of Hearts and Halifax’s Best Drag Queen, April Storm moved to the Columbia Valley in 2016 and has been regularly selling out shows in Radium, Invermere and Cranbrook ever since. Her shimmering and hilarious performances have made any April Storm soiree a not-to-be-missed event and her success has seen her perform at, and host shows in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Montreal. There's a lot of local love for April so be sure to arrive early!
