Winter Shuttle Service (Free)

The Mountain and Valley Shuttle connects Invermere and Panorama during the busy winter months of December - April. This service allows you to visit an authentic B.C. mountain town and enjoy a host of unique shopping, dining and recreational activities. Skate on the huge Lake Windermere, watch a game of hard-hitting hockey or shop for unique local artworks. The Mountain and Valley Shuttle is supported by the District of Invermere and tourism operators in the Columbia Valley.

Summer Farmers & Artists Market

On Saturdays, from early June through early September the Invermere Farmers & Artists Market pops up downtown. You'll find hand crafted wares, beautiful art, homemade baked goods and fresh local produce. Open from 9am - 1pm, you'll want to arrive early as local favourites sell out quickly. 

Eating & Drinking

Invermere is home to a diverse dining scene. From cozy waterside pub food to craft brews, elegant gourmet eats, crave worthy cuisine and laid back cafes. Galleries & Studios

The Columbia Valley is privileged to be home to a wide range of art galleries, working studios and artisan shops. Many locations can be visited via our free winter shuttle service (December - April).

Natural Hot Springs

Guests travelling by car can visit two incredible natural hot springs nearby. About 30 minutes south from Invermere on highway 93 are the steaming hot pools at Fairmont Hot Springs. Alternatively, Radium Hot Springs in the Spectacular Kootenay National Park is 20 minutes north of Invermere, and a great place to stop if you are travelling to or from Panorama and Alberta.
