The best of the Kootenays up and coming freeskiers will be testing their skills in our big mountain terrain! Venue TBD!

Panorama Mountain Resort and the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA) will be hosting a sanctioned Junior Freeride competition. Scored on line choice, fluidity, technique, control and style as they navigate through the challenging natural terrain featuring trees, steeps, cliffs and chutes where they are rewarded for using the features creatively. 

Schedule

January 29th:
Pre-Comp

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Check-in & Bib pick-up – Copper Crown Conference Room
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Inspection run open – must have bib to access course.

Qualifiers

January 30th:
Qualifying Runs (U12 Girls & Boys and U15 Women)

7:30 AM: Guest Services Opens
8:00 AM: Mandatory Athlete Meeting
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Additional Check-in & Bib Pick-up – Copper Crown Conference

9:45 AM – 10:15 AM: Course Inspection
