Fireplaces
Our condos feature two types of fireplaces. Upper Village properties are equipped with propane gas fireplaces. There is a thermostat that controls the fireplace. To turn the fireplace on, slide the bar to the desired temperature. The fireplace will light when the temperature in the unit drops below the set temperature. Lower Village properties have standard fireplaces that burn only glow logs. Glow logs are available at the General Store. Please do not burn natural wood! Remember to open the damper prior to lighting a fire. Fireplaces are hot! Do not place items near or against the fireplace. Panorama is not responsible for items melted or damaged as a result of a hot fireplace.
Non-Smoking
Panorama Mountain Resort is a non-smoking resort. The room you are in is privately owned, and as a group, belongs to a specific strata. To respect the wishes of these owners and their property, smoking is restricted to dedicated smoking areas signed by the resort. If you choose to smoke in your room there will be a $250 additional cleaning fee added to your bill. The rooms must be cleaned more thoroughly so the next arriving guest who is expecting a non-smoking unit will not notice any evidence of a previous smoker. Under certain circumstances the next arriving guest may not be able to stay in that room and if so, there will be an additional relocation cost. Please dispose of cigarette ends responsibly by using the receptacles provided around the village. Going smoke free ensures a welcoming environment and allows the fresh mountain air to stay fresh.
